I can hardly believe it —- the sun is shining! Yes, it is 29 degrees, —- but the sun is shining. That just makes my day bright and happy. I need to put some warm clothes on today and see what walking in the yard will be like so I can fill bird feeders. If it is sloppy, they will just have to wait another day or two. We allegedly have mostly dry weather for the next few days.
My daffodils are all up about five inches or so. I’m looking forward to the blooming. It will be spring tim before too much longer. According to the calendar we still have about five weeks until it is officially spring; that should be on March 20th if my thinking is right.
The family has all been on Facebook Messenger this morning as we talk and plan for our June family reunion. This year we are going to Branson, Missouri for a week. I have rented a very nice home with lots of room. There will hopefully be twenty one of us. But, with with grandkids that think it is perfectly alright to grow up and have their own lives, —- ya’ just never know what the count will be. It was sure a lot easier when we could say; “Get in the car”. LOL My kids used to call that “forced family fun”.
Well, my IPad just told me that I have less than 10% of my battery left so I guess I’ll just close out for the day. I hope you have a very blessed weekend. Don’t neglect the opportunity to thank the One responsible for those blessings. Peace.
