Welcome to Tuesday — just after noon. We’ve been a little busy this morning. When we got up this morning we decided to change the sheets and blanket, — well actually wash the sheets and blanket. We didn’t actually change them, just got them clean. While that was happening we did some other chores that needed doing. 

We hve a real feel temperature of 103 degrees outside so we will not be going out today except to maybe get the mail and then this evening I will water the garden after the sun gets off of it. If I went out there now, I’d just boil the plants by watering them. 

We just had a great lunch. We had simple lunch meat but also had fresh cucumbers and fresh tomatoes to go with it. We had gotten some cucumbers and tomatoes from Karen on Sunday and our tomatoes are finally starting to ripen too. That makes for some good eating. I could just sit and eat the veggies without any meat or cheese. I have often gone past the garden and just picked a tomato off of the vine and ate it. I’ve said I should keep a hidden - protected salt shaker out there during the summer. 

We, fiddle-sticks, I’ve pinched a nerve in my left lower back. I took some Tylenol right away but it hurts to move or walk. I may have to get my cane off of the door handle so I can get around. This is not a good thing. Thank goodness I did my parishioner visitation yesterday. I’ll give it a couple of days and see what happens. I do this about every six months and I end up walking around like I’m old or something. 

So, I think I will go sit in my recliner for awhile and see if things get back to normal.
